Christmas in Walt Disney World

So this time last week we'd just gotten home from another amazing trip to WDW! This time we went down to see all the Christmas Decor in the 4 parks, but mainly for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, a hard ticket event that occurs special nights at Magic Kingdom in Nov and Dec, with exclusive entertainment, parade, fireworks and character meet and greets you can only find at the party. The kid in me has wanted to go ever since I found out that Duck Tales star (and Mickey's Christmas Carol of course) Scrooge McDuck is ONLY found at this party (which was about a decade or so ago) !!

And.. The photo obsessed adult in me wanted to go to get some pics of the Once Upon a Christmastime parade ^_^

We got the EXACT spot that I had wanted, and really only planned to see the 1st parade (2 parades per party night) about an hour or so ahead of time. Then, secured the spot only about 30 minutes ahead of time. Which is AMAZING.

There is also an exclusive stage show, Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration, that happened to be Camden's favorite!

It was a really good time! But, to be honest... I really liked the Halloween Party (Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party) much better. I spent a long time planning that out, and had a very exact itinerary for our night lol. Also, that was attended during an anniversary/adults only trip, and this one was a family trip. Which is great! But we rode rides with very short wait times instead of seeing the fireworks and meeting more characters because that is what my son wanted to do :). I would go again just to get more parade pics, and maybe watch the fireworks this time, but probably not for a few years :)
